A graduate of DePauw University, Herb is a leader in two professions – aviation and insurance. He served in the US Air Force from 1962-68, is a decorated Vietnam War veteran, and past Wing Commander in the Indiana Air National Guard, leading the 122nd Fighter Wing flying F16C Falcons. He retired from military service in 1996 as a Major General. Aviation, as Herb’s “second profession,” is a strong asset to the agency for the specific knowledge and understanding this specialized insurance demands. Even though this is his specialty, Herb is similarly experienced in the various other fields of insurance from commercial and industrial to personal.
