H. J. Spier Company, Inc. was founded in 1930 by Herbert J. Spier, Sr. who, as a young agent, began his business by insuring a small barbershop in downtown Indianapolis. Today, we are headquartered in Indianapolis and have grown into a premier insurance and financial management business. We are one of the oldest and most experienced independent agencies in the Midwest and offer a wide variety of insurance products and services dedicated to bringing important value to the needs of our customers.
